Kettlewell and Wharfedale viewed from the Green Lane

The Yorkshire Dales National Park could scarcely have been more beautifully designed. A unique combination of wild fells, lush green valleys, cascading waterfalls and meandering rivers characterise this idyllic corner of Britain.

The isolated settlements and bustling market towns found amongst the breathtaking scenery of the Dales only serve to enhance its splendour, and the village of Kettlewell is no exception.

Unique location...

The Blue Bell boasts an exceptional setting, nestling at the foot of Great Whernside in the extraordinarily picturesque Yorkshire Dales village of Kettlewell.

The source of the Wharfe at Yockenthwaite.
We provide an ideal base for outdoor activities, with Kettlewell sporting more than its fair share of popular circular walks for hikers, countless bridleways and tracks for mountain bikers, limestone cliffs for rock climbers and pot holes for pot holers!

The route of the well known Dales Way walk and the increasingly popular Inn Way pass directly through Kettlewell, making the Blue Bell Inn the perfect place to stay or just have a welcome lunch break.

However, if walking or cycling the countless footpaths and bridleways isn't your cup of tea, there is a wealth of castles, abbeys and limestone caves to explore. Our staff are all well-informed on local attractions and events, so don't be afraid to ask, we will always be delighted to help you to enjoy your holiday.

The medieval market town of Skipton is our nearest, but Harrogate, York and Richmond are all within fairly easy driving distance.
